CSRS+ Renewal: For CSRS+ Holders (Validity Exceeding 3 Years)
Program Overview
Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist Plus (CSRS+) certification is valid for a period of three years. Certificate holders whose certification has expired or exceeded the validity period may apply for renewal to extend the certification validity for the next three years.
As sustainability reporting standards, ESG practices, and stakeholder expectations continue to evolve, sustainability professionals are expected to continuously maintain and enhance their competencies to remain aligned with current developments and reporting practices.
The CSRS+ Renewal Program is designed to support professionals in maintaining the relevance and credibility of their sustainability reporting competencies through continuous professional development activities.
To renew their certification, participants are required to attend the 2-day Intensive Online Training Program for CSRS+ Renewal organized by NCCR. The program covers updates to GRI Standards and disclosures, including GRI Standards 2021 updates and other disclosure updates in line with the ongoing development of the GRI Standards.
The program is organized by National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR), with certification issued by Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners (ICSP).
Eligibility
- Submit an expired CSRS+ certificate
- Submit certificates of completion from ICSP Monthly Webinar participation with a minimum total of 3 CPE credits
Training Duration
Designed to strengthen participants’ competencies in the latest GRI Standards and disclosures, including GRI Standards 2021 updates and topic-specific disclosures such as GRI 101: Biodiversity, GRI 102: Climate Change, GRI 103: Energy, and other updated GRI disclosures in line with the ongoing development of the GRI Standards.
