GRI Standards 2021 Update : For CSRS and CSRS+ Certificate Holders
Program Overview
As sustainability reporting standards continue to evolve, sustainability professionals are expected to maintain and enhance their competencies to remain aligned with current developments in sustainability reporting and disclosure practices.
This program is designed for CSRS and CSRS+ certificate holders who wish to update their knowledge of the latest GRI Standards developments and disclosures, as well as for CSRS+ holders who need to renew their certification validity.
The program covers key updates to the GRI Standards, including GRI Standards 2021 and selected topic-specific standards and disclosures, while supporting participants in maintaining the relevance and credibility of their sustainability reporting competencies through continuous professional development reporting
Eligibility
- Submit an expired CSRS/CSRS+ certificate
- Submission of three (3) CPE reports. It is currently not required. Participants are encouraged to report any CPE activities they have completed
Training Duration
Designed to strengthen participants’ competencies in the latest GRI Standards and disclosures, including GRI Standards 2021 updates and topic-specific disclosures such as GRI 101: Biodiversity, GRI 102: Climate Change, GRI 103: Energy, and other updated GRI disclosures in line with the ongoing development of the GRI Standards.
Who Should Attend
- CSRS+ certificate holders whose certification validity has expired or exceeded 3 years
- The training is open to NCCR alumni and the holders of CSRS Certificate seeks to gain a deep understanding of GRI Standards 2021 update reporting practices.
